When Painted Tree Boutiques abruptly closed more than 60 nationwide locations in April 2026, small vendors were given days to retrieve their merchandise before the doors locked — losing sales, deposits, and the only shelves they had. In the East Valley around Queen Creek, that left a wave of high-inventory makers with nowhere secure to store or sell their goods.

At the same time, shoppers had no single place to buy curated, local artisan goods — from a small-batch candle to a high-ticket canvas — straight from the people who make them. MakerRoute is purpose-built to solve both problems at once: makers open shops and fulfill orders directly today, and the fulfillment hub unlocks storage and same-hour delivery next.

Maker + Route.We take a maker's goods and put them on the most direct route to the customer — today that's pickup at the maker's shop, the maker's own local delivery, or shipping. Once inventory lives in one building, we batch every order into a single delivery — eliminating the multi-vendor delivery-fee trap that breaks every decentralized competitor.

In phase one, makers fulfill every order themselves — including made-to-order pieces with their crafting time published up front. When the hub opens, makers drop off once, we barcode and shelve each item, list it on the local storefront 24/7, and route it to a doorstep in under an hour when it sells.
